We are a local honey bee apiary with hives located in Delaware, Sunbury and Columbus. At City Girl Bees, we’re committed to supporting both people and pollinators through hands-on services, education, and quality resources.
Bee Relocation
Bees belong in our ecosystem—not inside your walls or unwanted spaces. We provide safe, humane bee relocation services, carefully removing and rehoming colonies so they can continue to thrive where they’re meant to be.
Education
Education is at the heart of what we do. We offer engaging, approachable learning experiences designed to help people understand the vital role bees and other pollinators play in our environment. Whether you're just curious or ready to get involved, we’re here to share knowledge that makes a difference.
Beekeeping Supplies
We offer a thoughtfully curated selection of beekeeping supplies, from hives and frames to protective gear and tools. Every product is chosen with care to support the health of your bees and set you up for success—whether you’re just getting started or expanding your apiary.
Honey Bee Relocation
We can relocate honey bee swarms local to Columbus, Delaware and surrounding areas. If you have a swarm in your yard or neighborhood give us a call. 740-816-3800
Have answers to the following questions when you call:
WHO: Please provide your name, address and callback number.
WHAT: Are you sure they’re honeybees? Take photos of the swarm with your cell phone to send to the person you contact!
WHEN: How long have the bees been in their present location?
WHERE: What is the address where they are located? Are they on your property? If not, whose property are they on? If we can’t find you, we can’t collect the swarm!
HOW MANY: What size is the swarm ball – like a softball? basketball? beachball?
HOW HIGH: How high off the ground are they? Are they in a tree or bush? Can the tree or shrub limb be cut if necessary?
Please note that if a swarm of bees has taken up residence inside an attic or wall, there may be costs associated with removal. We do have people you can contact for this type of removal.
If you're interested in purchasing a swarm, when available, call us to be put on our Swarm List. Pricing is variable.
Please note: Honey bee swarms are NOT aggressive by nature. They are simply looking for a new home. Call us first !
